COFFEE COLOGNE: online voting for Coffee Innovation Award now open

Which products have the potential to be a real hit on the booming coffee market? The coffee community can now vote on them online in connection with the first-time Coffee Innovations Award. The competition is being organized within the framework of COFFEE COLOGNE at domotechnica and is the first worldwide Innovation Award presented in recognition of particularly outstanding coffee products, components and packaging for the trade and catering industry. Numerous manufacturers in the coffee sector have entered for the award. A jury has subsequently selected the best products and nominated them in 8 categories. Now all coffee lovers are called upon to vote online at http://www.coffee-innovation.com/award/ and decide who will be the lucky winners in the individual categories. The winning products in the respective category will be exclusively and prominently presented at COFFEE COLOGNE within the framework of domotechnica from 18th to 21st February 2008 in Cologne. The manufacturers of the winning products will be honoured during the prize ceremony on 18th February 2008 at COFFEE COLOGNE.

They will choose between 24 products in nine categories: "Coffee in general", "Coffee drinks", "Coffee machines and grinders", "Coffee technology", "Coffee accessories", "Crossover to Tea", "Packaging / Descalers" and "Coffee Ingredients". The products nominated include the "Bayreuth Coffee machine 699 / 0702" from manufacturer Erste Bayreuther Porzellanfabrik "Walküre", the coffee pad machine "WMF 1" from WMF, the "St. Moritz Café" coffee from Kaffee Badilatti, an "anti-limescale egg" from manufacturer Watercryst, the "Caffè Latte TRESPRESSO" coffee drink from Emmi Frischprodukte AG and "Tea-to-Go" from manufacturer Hälssen & Lyon.

Coffee lovers still have time to vote for their personal favourites up to 5th February. The product with the most votes in each category will then be declared the winner.
